An important part of my practice is to use evidence-informed science. In 2016, a major study published in the journal Pain Medicine recommends massage therapy for reducing pain, improving mood, and health-related quality of life.
I strive to understand and make a connection with each of my clients. We start by having a conversation as to why you’re interested in a massage. I take the time to listen, clarify your goals, and discuss different options to design a treatment plan specifically for you. And together, we design a treatment plan that works for you. I am a firm believer in educating the client so they can become empowered to make adjustments to their lifestyle.
As a health and wellness coach, I can also work with my clients on helping them achieve their personal goals. Focusing on the future, I collaborate with my clients, walking them through the process of transformation.
Wellness coaching can improve motivation for making progress on health goals – including physical activity, healthy diet, and emotional resilience.
I have seen my clients make improvements in managing their pain, reducing stress, and gaining a better sense of well being.
