About

I focus on clinical and relaxation massage techniques, evidence-informed practice, research, and NMT (NeuroMuscular Therapy). I am also a health and wellness coach.

My philosophy is that working together is the best way to make progress. I am a massage therapist specializing in neuromuscular therapy (NMT), and a health and wellness coach.

As part of my life-long focus on helping people get better, I earned my associate’s degree in massage therapy from Northwestern Health Sciences University. My studies gave me solid training in physiology and clinical practice. My continuing education has included recent courses in massage therapy research and the biomechanics of pain.

I also volunteer as a health and wellness coach at a local nonprofit organization.

Mission

My mission is to provide massage therapy as way to improve the quality of life for my clients. I believe that massage therapy can be a nurturing and healing experience. Whether it is stress and tension or acute to chronic pain, massage therapy can be part of your wellness path.

Treating each client with dignity and respect, my purpose is to enhance health and well being. I do this through proper massage technique, touch, humor and individualized treatment plans. I consider body, mind, and spirit when I work with clients, being mindful of treating each client as a whole person.

I work with people living with pain, professionals seeking life balance, people with physical or mental health challenges, and people in recovery.

Reintegrating the body, mind and spirit can be a daunting challenge. I have great honor and respect for those courageous enough to walk this path with me.

I believe massage therapy can be an effective part of the solution to the opioid crisis by giving medical professionals and their patients an additional modality for, managing pain and improving quality of life.
